WHATELY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The United States Postal Service has denied the request to consolidate Whately’s four zip codes to one municipal zip code in order to reduce mailing confusion, especially with addresses shared by South Deerfield residents.
Whately Town Officials provided an update on the project, stating earlier this year USPS indicated support of the project, however due to their request denial, the project is now on hold and residents should not make any changes to their existing address.
