(Boston, MA) There will be no Boston Marathon this year. Boston Mayor Martin Walsh made the announcement today. Organizers are offering full refunds for registered participants and the only other COVID-19 safe alternative, which will be a virtual run. The virtual run will take place September 7-14, and a series of virtual events and activities will take place during that time. Participants are required to run the 26.2 miles within six hours and provide proof of timing. For more information on the Virtual Boston Marathon Run 2020 click here.
