(Franklin County, MA) FirstLight Power has announced the opening of some facilities in the area. Northfield Mountain, Riverview Park, and Barton Cove are open now for limited use of trail and open space only. Restrooms and picnic tables are not available at these locations. The full list of facilities that are open for trail use includes Bennet Meadow Wildlife Management Area, Northfield Mountain Trail System, and Barton Cove Nature Area. Cabot Camp, Cabot Wood Fishing Access Area, Branch Canal Area, and Poplar Street Access are also open. Turners Falls Fishway Viewing Area and Munn’s Ferry Boat Camping Area are both closed.
