This weekend is the annual Bernardston Kiwanis “Scarecrow in the Park” festival at Cushman Park. While the vendors, food booths and live entertainment are not part of the festival this year due to the pandemic, a wide variety of scarecrows have been built in the park, competing for the titles of “scariest”, “funniest”, “prettiest” and “most interesting use of materials.” Visitors are welcome to walk through the park and look at the scarecrows, but are being asked to wear masks and to social distance while in the park.
