Whately Lights Cake, Enjoys Ice Cream In Commemoration Of Town’s 250th Anniversary

(Whately, MA)  — Whately’s 250th anniversary celebration continued Friday night as residents converged on the town’s fire station on Christian Lane for an ice cream social, which included the lighting of the official “Whately 25oth” cake. The event was one of a number being planned to commemorate the town’s 250th, many of which have had to be delayed because of the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic.
