(GREENFIELD, MA) — Greenfield has released updated numbers on the coronavirus pandemic effect on the city. There are now 77 confirmed COVID 19 cases in Greenfield, up from 74 yesterday. There have been 19 deaths in the city due to the virus.

Greenfield Fire Department remembers 9/11 24 years later: “We will never forget”

On this 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on America, the Greenfield Fire Department hosted a ceremony of remembrance at the fire station at 41 Main Street.

Fire Chief Robert Strahan addressed a small gathering of residents and GFD members. Strahan said September 11 this year was in some ways was very reminiscent of September 11, 2001.
