(Turners Falls, MA) – The Franklin County Technical School School Committee has voted to shorten the school year by four days and cancel April break. As a result, the last day of school will be June 12 instead of June 18.
The intent of the move is to avoid further disruptions to students, for whom a distance learning program has just been launched. Monday, April 20th will still be a day off, and Monday’s schedule will be moved to Friday. English, Social Studies, PE/Health, and Shop Class will move their Monday office hours and assignments to Friday.
