(Boston) The Baker-Polito Administration announced Friday the distribution of 200,000 respirator masks for all local law enforcement officers and firefighters. This includes sheriffs, college and university law enforcement officers, and firefighters. Communities can pick up their supply of masks at their designated MEMA POD, 0r MEMA point of distribution. Each law enforcement office and firefighter will receive five respirator masks each, or one month’s supply. Each mask should last one week, according to the administration, with one spare mask. The Baker-Polito administration has distributed over four million pieces of PPE statewide. Information on daily distribution of PPE can be found here.
