ERVING, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A winning lottery ticket worth a prize of $1 million was sold in Franklin County and has been claimed by the holder.
The winning ticket for the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Gold 50X” game was sold at the Weatherheads Convenience Store on the French King Highway in Erving.
The winner, who elected to remain anonymous, chose the lump-sum payment of $650,000.
The convenience store receives a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
