Route 2 in Erving closed due to downed trees, wires

ERVING, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Route 2 in Erving is closed at this hour after reports of trees and wires down.

Traffic is being diverted to Northfield via North Street, according to Northfield Police. Northfield PD advises motorists to expect increased traffic in the area, particularly on Gulf Road, Maple Street, Main Street, and Millers Falls Road.
